NOWCAST THROUGH LATE MORNING:
Mainly clear and cold.
6am: Fair 28°
8am: Mainly Clear 29°
10am: Mainly Clear 34°
DRY BUT COLDER:
A weak cold front slides through with some clouds and a quick drop in temperature as winds turn to the northwest. We stay dry today although it will be colder with highs dropping back to the low 40s. Lows tonight plunge into the lower 20s under clear skies.
WARMER BUT UNSETTLED WEEKEND:
The warming trend resumes Friday into the weekend, but we will have to contend with unsettled weather. Saturday looks like the better of the two weekend days, with just a slight chance for a few light showers (mainly west of Bowling Green). A strong cold front approaches Sunday, bringing with it a better likelihood for widespread rain and thunderstorms along with gusty winds. Highs climb from the 40s Friday into the 50s Saturday and then 60s Sunday!
Monday starts wet before colder, drier air rolls in late Monday into Tuesday. Highs fall from the upper 50s Monday into the 40s Tuesday into Wednesday. At this time, the region appears dry for any travel plans you may have leading up to Thanksgiving.
