A WINDY, WARM START:
A strong cold front moves through today with gusty winds up to 45 mph if not higher! This could make driving difficult, so drive with caution as the strongest winds blow through between daybreak and afternoon. A few scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible with some late day sun likely. Once the cold front passes, temperatures will take a tumble into the 30s tonight.
Temperatures will fall back below seasonal average for Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in the mid to upper 40s – that’s around 10° below average. While Tuesday will be sunny, a weak disturbance will bring a slight chance of a rain or snow shower Wednesday evening but no impacts are forecast.
THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND:
Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday will continue to be cool but mainly sunny with highs in the mid 40s. The next chance for a shower will come as southerly breezes bring a slight chance of rain for Saturday night and Sunday but highs will rise into the mid 50s.
