COOLER START TO DECEMBER:
A cold front will bring an end to the relatively warm weekend we’ve had in Southern Kentucky. Temperatures will fall through the day along with a good chance of rain. Locations north of the Ohio River could see some freezing rain and sleet in a few spots. Rain is likely again tonight with cooler readings in the mid and upper 30s. Lows should stay warm enough to keep any frozen precipitation away but a few icy spots are possible early Tuesday morning.
A WET WEEK AHEAD:
A slow jam of systems will keep us cloudy and rainy at times through the first week of December. On a few days, temperatures will not move much at all but staying at or just above average (53°) for this time of year. Look for another good chance of rain Thursday and Friday. Lows will be in the 40s.
CHRISTMAS PARADE WEEKEND:
Right now, Saturday looks mainly cloudy with a few peeks of sun and a chance of a scattered shower. Highs will be mid in the mid and upper 50s.
