Not Much Change Ahead

NOWCAST THROUGH LATE MORNING:
Chilly with areas of patchy drizzle.
6am: Patchy Lgt. Rain/Drizzle 41°
8am: Patchy Lgt. Rain/Drizzle 41°
10am: Patchy Lgt. Rain/Drizzle 43°

DREARY AND COOL TUESDAY:
Low clouds will linger as the arctic front that came through early Monday morning gets hung up just to our southeast. This keeps some light rain showers and drizzle around with the best chances mainly along and east of I-65. Highs will top out in the upper 40s and begin to rise tonight into early Wednesday. Expect mostly cloudy skies through Wednesday morning, although some sun may return by Wednesday afternoon. There is just a slight chance for a bit of light rain to linger over mainly far eastern sections into Wednesday morning.

MORE UNSETTLED WEATHER:
We’ll catch a break in the wet weather late Wednesday through Thursday morning before more rain returns Thursday afternoon with the arrival of our next system. At least we stay mild through late week, with highs mainly in the 50s and overnight readings staying well above freezing. A good chance of rain is expected Friday as the system parks over the region. Rainfall amounts of up to an inch are possible.

CHRISTMAS PARADE WEEKEND:
It looks mild for Saturday’s Christmas parades, although a few showers may linger Saturday morning as Friday’s system slowly exits to the east. The rest of the weekend appears mainly dry at this time. Highs will remain in the 50s through Monday.
