STAYING VERY COLD:
A reinforcing shot of cold air arrives this morning. This brings with it clouds along with a chance for a few snow flurries. Otherwise, today will feature some sun, but it will remain cold. Highs will once again reach the mid to upper 20s with wind chills ranging from the single digits to mid teens as temperatures fall through the afternoon.
Arctic cold slowly retreats late week into the weekend, although temperatures remain below normal. A couple of systems will impact our weather next week. The first one arrives late Sunday into Monday with mainly rain. The second arrives Wednesday into Thursday with rain or snow possible. Highs will warm into the lower 40s to begin the week before dropping into the 30s late in the going. Lows rise into the 30s by midweek.
