A NICE WARMUP!
Areas of patchy fog, freezing fog and frost will start the day. Watch for reduced visibility in a few spots along with possible black ice while heading to work or school. Otherwise, we will see sunshine return with temperatures warming into the mid 40s for highs. Tonight will be fair and chilly with lows in the upper 20s. A few areas of patchy fog will be possible once again.
The weekend begins on a warmer note with lots of sunshine and breezy southwest winds on Saturday. Highs will reach into the mid 50s Saturday afternoon. A weak disturbance passes through Saturday night but it appears nothing more than clouds or a few sprinkles are expected. Behind that disturbance, we will be only slightly cooler for Sunday with highs in the mid to upper 40s.
Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (Monday) will be mainly sunny and mild with highs in the low 50s. Another weather maker shows up late Tuesday with a slight chance for light rain. Dry weather resumes Wednesday into Thursday. Milder temps will prevail Monday through Wednesday with highs in the 50s but dropping into the low 40s by Thursday.
