Unsettled Week of Weather

Jan26blog

NOWCAST THROUGH LATE MORNING:
Breezy with patchy light rain and snow flurries.
5am: 30° 6am: 30° 7am: 29° 8am: 29° 9am: 31° 10am: 32° 11am: 33°

A CHILLY START:
A “Clipper” system slides across the region with a trailing cold front changing plain rain over to light snow and possible freezing drizzle this morning. There will also be a stiff west/northwest wind at 15-25mph that will add an extra chill to the air. Watch for icy spots that may develop as a result of the colder temperatures and wet roads. Highs will only reach into the mid and upper 30s.

FINAL WEEK OF JANUARY:
A few disturbances leaves our week a little unsettled. Expect another rain/snow chance into early Tuesday with little to no accumulation expected. Another “Clipper” comes through as we head into Thursday with another chance for rain and snow across the region with minor amounts expected. Temperatures will reach into the low 50s Thursday before falling back into the low to mid 40s for the upcoming weekend.
