QUICK HIT OF SNOW:
Today will be the mildest day this week thus far with temperatures rising into the low 50s along with an increase in clouds. However, a fast moving clipper system moves through tonight with a chance of rain mixed with snow changing to all snow late. Some minor snow accumulation (dusting to half-inch) is possible. Regardless of amounts, temperatures will dive into the low to mid 20s tonight which may cause icy spots to develop on area roadways through Thursday morning. We will see a return to sunshine for Thursday but daytime highs will only reach into the low 30s with a chilly north wind.
Mostly sunny skies return for Friday and Saturday along with moderating temperatures. Highs will climb back into the mid 40s Friday and into the mid to upper 50s Saturday and Sunday. There is a slight chance for rain showers late Saturday night into Sunday followed by somewhat cooler air for Monday and Tuesday.
