Sept29blog

NOWCAST THROUGH LATE MORNING:
Partly cloudy to mainly clear, mild temps with some patchy fog early.
6am: Mainly Clear 61°
8am: Mainly Clear 65°
10am: Mainly Sunny 75°

SEPTEMBER ENDS WARM:
The start of this work week will be much like the end of last week – continued warm and dry. Temperatures will be running at least 5-7 degrees above average for the next few days with no rain to speak of. In fact, this September will go down as the 5th driest on record for Bowling Green and much of South Central Kentucky.

WHERE’S THE RAIN?
October will begin warm and dry but a potent disturbance will finally bring some beneficial rain to the region by Thursday evening. Some of the rainfall may be heavy at times. Behind this system will be much cooler air for the upcoming weekend for the Rollercoaster Yard Sale. Highs will fall from the mid 70s on Friday to the mid 60s by Saturday. Lows will dip into the upper 40s early Sunday!
